Medmom Beauty Studio specializes in non-invasive facial and body treatments and is located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, just steps from Grand Central Station, Bryant Park, and Times Square.

Our mission is to treat the face and body in the most gentle, thoughtful, and individualized way possible. All treatments in our studio are performed exclusively by hand, without devices or gadgets, and without pain, discomfort, or bruising. Every program is customized specifically for each client.

Sofia Zimovets

Licensed Aesthetician & Cosmetologist

Sofia Zimovets is a Russian-trained medical doctor and a Licensed Aesthetician and Cosmetologist in the United States, with over 18 years of experience working with the face and body.

Her professional journey began with specialized education in kinesiology, and rehabilitation, followed by medical studies at Volgograd State Medical University, which she began in 2005. Throughout her career, she has completed numerous advanced trainings, certifications, and specializations. Long before becoming a certified physician in Russia, Sofia was already dedicated to professional cosmetology practice, thoughtfully combining medical science with hands-on aesthetic expertise.

In 2021, she moved to the United States, where she continues her work in the beauty and wellness industry. Her medical background and clinical experience allow her to approach each client with exceptional care, precision, and deep respect for the body. She specializes in non-invasive, gentle facial and body treatments that are both highly effective and safe. Every treatment plan is carefully individualized, taking into account a client’s health history, personal goals, and desired timeline for results.

Sofia believes that meaningful, lasting results are achieved through knowledge, sensitivity, and a profound understanding of anatomy and physiology. She is known for explaining complex concepts in clear, accessible language and for creating a calm, supportive environment where clients feel genuinely heard and understood.

Based in New York City, Sofia is a devoted mother of two and the proud owner of two rescue cats. She continues to grow her studio while sharing her expertise through her professional blog, remaining fully committed to her mission of integrating medical science with advanced aesthetics in a way that honors the body, preserves its integrity, and delivers refined, natural-looking results.

Our team consists exclusively of licensed and experienced specialists dedicated to delivering elevated aesthetic care. Each session is performed with intention, precision, and a deep understanding of individual needs. When building our team, it was extremely important that our staff share our mission and values; to treat the body with the utmost care and without pain or discomfort, because we truly believe that excellent results can be achieved without force — through comfort, consistency, and regular, mindful work. Our entire team was trained under the direct supervision of Sofia, the Founder & Studio Director, and they fully reflect the same approach and individualized philosophy toward the human body. At Medmom Beauty Studio, we believe that every client is unique, and no two treatment programs should ever be the same. We practice exclusively personalized client care, and this same individualized approach is consistently carried through by our entire team.

Iulia pays close attention to your needs and always strives to create the most comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, where you can experience the full benefits of our treatments, feel at ease, and achieve the best possible results for your body.

Face Specialist

Valeri is a certified aesthetic practitioner with refined skills in sculpting and enhancing natural facial contours who cares deeply about the condition of your facial skin and about helping you look younger, fresher, and free of puffiness. She has many hours of practice in yoga and various healing techniques and follows a holistic approach for those who value natural methods of health and rejuvenation. Valeri has incredible energy, and you will feel it in her hands from the very first minutes of the session.
